His great story is a teacher in his mom&#39;s life. Reggie&#39;s mom was age 17 living in a chicken coup in Louisiana, pregnant with Reggie and scared . She remembered a teacher told her, &quot;if you ever need anything, call me&quot; and Reggie&#39;s mom did. The teacher traveled from Tennessee, took the girl into her home. She helped her through the delivery, served as a foster parent and then adopted Reggie.</p>

Wedgwood Christian Services, Positive Youth Development Program, partnered with ACTION for this first Real Talk program of 8 sessions.</p>
<p>Kelvin Jackson served as facilitator for the 8 week program. The 8th session was December 17 when the students enjoyed a pizza party, gift bags that included Freedom Writers Diary, journal, &#8220;Prisoner of The American Dream&#8221;, Leland Band CD, $10 Rivertown Cinema  Gift Card and a completion certificate.</p>
<p>The group shared many ways &#8220;Real Talk&#8221; has helped them and want to continue meeting in another format, possibility in an after school setting.</p>
<p>Thanks to Rogers High School staff Katie Pennington, Principal and Nicole Smith, Counselor for their support</p>
<p>ACTION Wyoming is planning other sites and programs in local Wyoming schools that will support and encourage positive lifestyle choices.</p>
